Robinhood Chain, Start Here
Updated 2026-10-29
Short answer: Robinhood Chain is an Ethereum layer 2 network from Robinhood, built on Arbitrum technology and live since July 2026. It's designed for tokenized assets, especially Robinhood's Stock Tokens, alongside regular crypto apps. It uses 0x addresses, works with Ethereum-style wallets, and fees are paid in ETH.
Stock Tokens
Stock Tokens track the price of real shares. They are issued by a Robinhood company and are not the same as owning the shares: read what you get (rights, dividends, how they can be sold) in Robinhood's own terms. Availability depends on where you live.
Getting on and off
- Robinhood Wallet supports the chain directly; other Ethereum-style wallets can add it as a network.
- Moving funds in or out may need a bridge: see how crypto bridges work.
- Keep a little ETH on the chain for fees.
Watch out
- It's new. New networks attract copycat tokens and fake apps. Check every token's contract against Robinhood's official list.
- Read what you sign: how to read a transaction before you sign.
